Life is full of surprises. Some unexpected incidents will always happen to divert your planned life on a smooth highway towards a mud road full of pitfalls. But you cannot turn back. You can not apply brake. But you have to accelerate to overcome the road of thrones as early as possible. Every moment in that journey will make you fell that you are in that position for years. Actually you are in that situation only for a moment. The circumstances will make this feel within you. On the contrary when you are on the highway it will pass in blink of an eye. As the environment is full of feel good atmosphere. Your passers by is like your well wishers. May be they are not supporting you from their heart but you cannot identify your true well wishers from that crowd. As every thing seems to be so perfect for you. But who really cares for you, who really loves you, who really supports will always be there waiting for you on the roadside when nothing is going well for you. That person will be waiting for you with a smiling face and waving one hand towards you. You may ask where is that person when you are happy? The person will only smile and will put one hand on your shoulder and will show the path to move forward in your life.

May be when you will come across the same situation, that person may not be present in that roadside where you are expecting. But that does not mean you cannot find your path of moving forward in our life. In that journey you will miss the person very much, the more harder you will try to find the more tough it will become for you to locate that person on the roadside. Even when your life is all set you will feel the absence of that person. But you have to move on uttering the line that person had told you when you first met "Miles to go before I sleep".

I really don't know whether the title of the blog is really appropriate for the story that I am going to post here. It will not showcase my talent as a blogger to think something else and publish it in front of my viewers but it will surely test my skill whether I am a good story teller or not? It is a real story that I heard from one of my colleagues at my new office, Webfil limited. His name is Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee, around 55 years of age. He told me about a real incident that happened in his life in the year of 1978-79 when he was off to the then Bombay for some training.

In that training many foreign students and professors also came. They were staying in a dormitory at a rent of Rs. 2. No man it is not a joke but that was the rent of the dormitory at that time which includes fooding and lodging. But in return they had to do some work like gardening or washing bathrooms. Every day they were assigned a job which they had to do during their free time. On one day Mr. Abhijit Chatterjee was assigned a job of cleaning the bathrooms along with a foreigner whom he did not know prior to the job. He was given brooms, washing soda and buckets to complete the job. he went to the bathrooms and wandering where was his partner? After waiting for sometimes, he started his job in not so good intentions. He was trying to complete his job as early as possible. In the mean time a foreigner entered and shook hands with him and with out losing his time started his job. And he was doing the job like he was cleaning his own bathrooms. Mr. Chatterjee was just spellbound how much effort he was giving in the job. More shock was present for him. Latter he came to know that the foreigner was the HOD of Economics department of Oxford University. My God hearing this I just fell down from my chair.

On the next day he was assigned the job of clearing stones from garden. He gathered those and made small small heap which looked quite nice. In return some British commented that he is doing job like British people not like Indians.

On that night, some french girl invited him to sleep with them. After dinner he went to their room and felt asleep. Next morning when he woke all girls had left. If there happened any mystery that night I did not know. Jokes apart.

But it gave me a lesson that if a HOD of Oxford University was enthusiastic in cleaning bathrooms of dormitory then I must perform my physical job at my office whole heartedly. That is the reason why I have given this title.
