It was a bright sunny morning in the month of May'09 when me and my parents pay a visit to 'Bhobotarani Mandir' at Dhakaneshwar. My mother is a true devotee of Lord Ramkrishna and she was unable to pay visit to that temple for the last couple of years, she was more energetic and deterministic to make it this time.
As the weather remained very hot and humid for the last couple of days so we decided to move out of home as early as possible to avoid the scorching heat of the sun. So, the day started early for me and I had to wake up at 6:00 a.m. It was really a very tough call for me as I am late to bed and late to rise. But I managed it and woke up around 6:20 a.m. When I came out of bathroom after freshening my self my dad started questioning about my punctuality and my time sense as we are scheduled to board the train around 6:55 am. But I had huge confidence on my self about boarding the train and also had the trust that as I am visiting GOD, she will take care of it. And yes, we easily board the train and reached Bally station around 7:45 am. From there we took two separate rickshaws and then auto (the itinerary was over the Bally bridge) to reach our destinations around 8:00 a.m.
From that time there was a huge crowd of devotee all around the temple from the Ganga Ghat to the door of entering the temple. It was really a site to watch that just on the belief of GOD how can people gathered themselves to offer puja to GOD and they have the belief that GOD can only do good to them.
We brought to separate Dalas (a container containing flowers and sweets for offering) and stood in the queue to enter the main temple where we can offer prayers to 'Ma Bhobotarini' . The line was not too long and so we were able to offer our prayers quiet early.
After that we took sweets and water and roamed around the 12 Shiv Mandir s present in the premises of the temple.
After that we also visited Adhya Pith but as photography was not allowed there I didn't take risk of pulling my shutter.Though taking snap of Ma Bhobotarinin was not allowed but I took it on my own risk.
The return journey was very tough as the mercury already touched 42 degree Celsius and we returned by bus and then by train to back to my home.
Actually it was my parents 25th anniversary on that date and so the visit. Mother bought a chain containing picture of Ma Kali, Lord Ramkishna, Ma Sarada and Vivekanada, the finance was made my me. It was the token of gift from my side.
